Frequently Asked Questions

We know that beginning the therapeutic process can be intimidating, and we want you to feel comfortable as you begin your journey.

The following questions are some of the most frequently asked questions, but if you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call us at 312-729-5089.

Counseling can be a powerful tool for anyone looking to improve their lives and their relationships. Counseling can be useful for anyone looking to improve their communication skills, boost their self-esteem, and reach their greatest potential.
The frequency of sessions will be determined based on need and interest. We will work together to create a plan that fits your needs and addresses your treatment goals.
You can schedule an appointment by filling out the confidential form under the contact tab on the site. You can also email us or call us directly to schedule.
Our policy is that 24-hours notice is required for all rescheduled sessions. Please contact us directly to reschedule. Note that the full session fee will be charged if you do not cancel within 24-hours, and insurance does not cover or reimburse this charge.
During the first counseling session, you will fill out the new client intake packet, and you will begin to share your story with us. We will discuss what you would like to address in the sessions, and we will get to know you.

During the next few sessions, you will share more about your treatment goals, and we will work together to help you meet those goals.

We are currently considered in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans. We are considered an out-of-network provider for all other insurance plans, but we will gladly provide you with a receipt so that you may submit your sessions to your insurance for reimbursement. We currently accept cash or check, and payment is due at time of service.
