Tears often flow behind closed doors.  While others are seemingly enjoying their lives, or, at least, it appears that way on social media, you are hurting at one more “lost” invite.  Whether it is Ladies Night Out that is captured or photos from the wedding of someone you considered a friend, you feel left out and isolated with the walls of your home while scrolling through your phone.  Social media’s purpose is to connect people, yet, it is one of the current causes of disconnection.  Depression, anxiety and general sadness are quite common in this generation of social media.  We will share some strategies to lessen its impact on your mood.

May 15, 2017 – Heal Chat

Lizzie and Michelle are Licensed Clinical Therapists working with women, ages 21-55, living with everyday stressors, anxiety, depression and/or going through significant life transitions.  Given they work with similar clients and have many of the same interests, they joined together to create Heal Chat to provide women with strategies and suggestions to feel more balanced, accomplished and successful in their lives.  Each episode will cover a common clinical topic such as: coping, self esteem, stress or a transitional life stage, beginning with post college and moving through to the empty nest.
