Elizabeth Burke
Admin Team: President & Founder

People have always been able to confide in me without judgement. When I was growing up, my parents, siblings and friends said they always took solace in spending time with me and sharing their intimate thoughts and feelings. They found that being able to talk with me—openly and freely without judgment—was both empowering and a great source of relief. As I grew older, it became clear that I profoundly enjoyed relating to people from all different backgrounds and beliefs.
As a business owner and full time Chicago therapist, I understand the many stressors of balancing work and home life with taking care of yourself and those you love. I also understand the importance of creating a healthy life-work balance. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my spouse, friends and family, exercising, cooking and reading. No matter what I’m doing, I truly enjoy getting to know people on a deeper level.
Tiara Tyler
Admin Team: Administrative Assistant

My name is Tiara. I am currently the Intake UIC/Campus Care coordinator for Empowered Therapy. I have 3 years of experience in Mental Health and 6 years of experience in Healthcare. I love to help others any way I can. I have a Bachelors degree in Business Management and currently enrolled to receive my Master’s degree in Business Administration. My aspiration is to become a leader and help the organization achieve their goals and motivations.
Tiara joined our Empowered team in August 2021 as a Administrative Assistant. She has been in the healthcare field for 3 years and she is currently enrolled at Rasmussen University to receive her Bachelors degree in Business Management in May 2022. She enjoys working in the mental health and providing support to her team. Tiara enjoys listening to music, reading and helping young women.
Amber Gillogly
Admin Team: Administrative Assistant

Amber manages insurance claims follow up and resolves billing issues. She also supports the intake coordinator. She is coming from a background of real estate billing with CHA and music business management. Outside of her work at Empowered, Amber is an LMT, certified in Thai Bodywork, yomassage and Reiki and provides services to those seeking to heal.
Linda Manelli-Bauer
Admin Team: Lead Intake Coordinator

Re-entering the workforce after a long break in raising my family, brought me to Empowered Therapy. In my role as Intake Coordinator I have helped with the growth of our practice over the last 5 years. I assist new clients to connect with a therapist on our team, which is a favorite part of my work as well as support our clinicians and our Admin Team.
Outside of Empowered you might find me spending time with my grown children. I enjoy cooking, gardening, sewing or finding new places for music, food and fun in and around Chicago. My love of hiking and kayaking, biking and camping keep me grounded and connected with nature.
