Provisionally Licensed Therapist Position

Empowered Therapy, Inc. is always looking for highly qualified, full time clinicians (LPC, LSW, LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, PsyD, PhD) to join our growing private practice.

About The Position

We are looking for clinicians who enjoy working with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues, and who would work well in a collaborative environment. We are looking for someone well versed in treating adults and couples, and who has an interest in working with graduate students.

Who We’re Looking For

We highly encourage you to apply if you have experience or additional training in working with couples and families, and the following presenting issues, including but not limited to, marital distress and conflict, communication issues, trust issues, infidelity, life transitions, family issues, substance use, and child/adolescent challenges.

Special consideration will be given to clinicians who have the following:

  • Experience/training with couples and/or family therapy.
  • Experience with graduate students, emerging adulthood, and life transitions.
  • Experience or training in working with parenting issues, perinatal and/or postpartum mental health.
  • Certifications, such as EMDR, CADC, EFT, Imago, Gottman Method, etc.

Qualifications

  • Masters or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related degree.
  • Fully licensed LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, Ph.D.
  • Provisionally licensed LPC, LSW (supervision provided in-house). 
  • Must hold a current license in the state of Illinois. 
  • Experience working with couples and families. 
  • Experience with trauma work and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Interest in collaborating with colleagues.
