Testing Psychologist Position

Empowered Therapy, Inc. is looking for fully licensed Clinical Psychologists & Neuropsychologists (PsyD, Ph.D.) to join our growing private practice.

About The Position

We are looking for Clinical Psychologists & Neuropsychologists well versed in conducting psychological and neuropsychological assessments. We are looking for Psychologists who value providing high quality care, engaging in collaborative consultation and collegiality, and upholding professionalism with clients, colleagues, and staff.

Unique Opportunities and Support

At Empowered Therapy, the testing psychologist would have the opportunity to work closely with our Nurse Practitioner for medication management to create a collaborative care team for our clients. Empowered Therapy has a contract with a local university, which offers a stream of referrals, and allows us the opportunity to provide students with a variety of services, including psychological testing & assessments. Our billing & administrative team will handle all billing claims and authorizations. This allows you to focus the clinical work with your patients and complete your documentation.

Qualifications

  • A Ph.D. or Psy.D.in clinical psychology or neuropsychology

  • Post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology and/or with a focus on psychological assessment is preferred

  • Currently Licensed as a Psychologist in the State of Illinois

  • Training in and experience with the assessment of a variety of referral concerns including; mood disorders, personality disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and trauma related disorders.

  • Ability to be flexible in serving our patients by providing a mix of telehealth services and in-person services, when appropriate and necessary.

  • Experience assessing teens and adults.

  • Experience with trauma work and trauma-informed approaches.

  • Interest in collaborating with colleagues.

  • Strong and reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work.
